Torre Tavira The tower was originally built in the 18th century as a watchtower for spotting ships entering the port. It is one of many towers that were constructed along the coast of Cádiz for this purpose. What makes Torre Tavira particularly interesting is that it houses a "Camera Obscura." This device uses lenses and mirrors to provide a 360-degree panoramic view of the city in real-time. Visitors can experience a unique and interactive way to see Cádiz from above.
